Introduction
Ambros Therapeutics came to Motionstrand looking for a new creative direction for their CRPS-RISE clinical trial campaign. The visual identity, website, and overall campaign aesthetic all needed to be built from the ground up, with a focus on creating a distinct campaign feel rather than a strict brand extension.
Our goal
Motionstrand aimed to develop a distinct campaign identity and website for CRPS-RISE that felt purposeful and campaign-driven, while still feeling cohesive enough to carry through across the full campaign ecosystem.
Visual Identity
Three concepts, one clear direction
Motionstrand presented three campaign concepts to Ambros, each taking a different emotional and visual approach to the idea of "rise." Ambros selected the second concept, Pain Doesn't Get Every Moment, which used polaroid-inspired photography, a desaturated world aesthetic, and handwritten typography to create something personal and distinctly campaign-driven. All visual assets were packaged and handed off to Ambros' other agency partners to carry through across additional materials.
UX & UI Design
Two audiences, two distinct experiences
The CRPS-RISE campaign required two separate sites: one for patients and one for healthcare professionals. While both share the same visual identity, the patient site takes a warmer, more accessible approach while the HCP site is more clinically focused. Motionstrand designed both experiences with MLR review built into the process, keeping the team aligned through each round of feedback.

Prototyping
Built to align before it was built to launch
Before moving into development, Motionstrand prototyped the CRPS-RISE sites for internal stakeholder meetings, giving the Ambros team a clear picture of the experience before any code was written. This kept feedback focused and the process moving efficiently.

Front-end & Back-end Development
A campaign brought to life
Motionstrand built both the patient and HCP sites in Drupal from the ground up, bringing the campaign identity to life across two distinct digital experiences. The warm, polaroid-inspired aesthetic and handcrafted typographic style carried through every detail of the build, creating a cohesive look and feel across both sites.

Results
With a fully documented visual identity and two live websites, Ambros' other agency partners had everything they needed to carry the campaign through print and additional materials without losing consistency. The work Motionstrand delivered became the foundation the entire campaign was built on.
