Unlike the traditional seventy-two-hour EEG testing with delayed diagnosis, the Ceribell solution offers a rapid 10-minute setup and results within a few hours. Neurologists and epileptologists can access and interpret data on the go, ensuring immediate specialist consultations and comprehensive reporting. Ceribell's Point-of-Care EEG enables early detection and management of suspected seizures, enhancing patient care and hospital efficiency. ClarityPro™ AI allows non-specialists to accurately detect seizures, while real-time EEG data streaming to a secure cloud portal lets physicians review information from anywhere.
Motionstrand aimed to enhance Ceribell's user experience, addressing challenges like inefficient EEG testing and a complex data portal.
By collaborating closely with Ceribell, Motionstrand redesigned the portal with a modern, intuitive interface tailored to medical professionals' needs. The goal was to improve communication, streamline diagnoses, and ultimately advance patient care in neurology.
The efficiency behind the scenes
We created a new design system for Ceribell using atomic design principles, breaking every element down to its smallest detail. This scalable system allows the team to grow and add new features while maintaining brand consistency.
Ceribell has gained strong support from hospitals, particularly in rural areas that benefit greatly from remote reading capabilities. This portable technology significantly reduces costs associated with 24-hour EEG coverage by legacy equipment, enabling nurses to deliver care more swiftly and often avoid the need for airlifting patients, intubation, or unnecessary medications. Patients benefit from faster, more accurate diagnoses and shorter hospital stays. Additionally, as the product continues to attract more hospitals and gain access to a wider range of EEG data, its machine learning algorithms have become increasingly refined, with this robust diagnostic data being crucial in securing FDA approval.
