As a global leader in biopharmaceuticals with a focus on hematology, immunology, and specialty care treatments, Sobi entrusted us with the critical task of unifying their 15+ web properties into a single, cohesive platform. Our collaboration has been multifaceted, providing not just creative and development support, but also strategic analytics and new brand acquisition infrastructure. Together, we're streamlining Sobi Pharmaceuticals' digital presence to enhance both efficiency and impact in the biopharmaceutical sector.
Motionstrand aimed to develop a centralized workflow that would empower Sobi's Omnichannel Center of Excellence (OCOE) to manage digital assets seamlessly, regardless of their origin. This involved creating clear guidelines for all stakeholders, ensuring consistent practices, and ultimately streamlining Sobi's digital operations.
Building a unified digital workflow
The core of our solution was the creation of visual guides for website builds and optimizations. These comprehensive guides outlined the roles and responsibilities of each team involved – internal and external. We mapped out key steps for every potential project, from small-scale updates to large-scale launches. By tagging activities with team and activity types, we made it easy for teams to identify their tasks and track progress.
From vision to reality
To ensure a smooth process, we designed and prototyped the workflow in Figma, creating two iterations for the Sobi team to review. This collaborative effort allowed us to work closely with the client, refining content and incorporating their feedback on the design and user experience. The prototype provided a clear preview of how the site would function, helping the Sobi team feel confident before development began. This approach not only built trust and secured buy-in but also minimized revisions, ensuring a seamless transition from concept to completion.
With a clear roadmap for web development and optimization, Sobi's OCOE now has the tools to manage diverse digital assets effectively. The visual guides and streamlined processes have fostered better communication and collaboration between internal teams, brand leads, and agency partners. This collaborative effort, guided by Motionstrand's expertise, has not only met but exceeded Sobi's initial goals, paving the way for a more agile and impactful digital presence in the biopharmaceutical industry.
