Introduction
The existing REMS site was outdated and difficult to navigate, making an already complex process harder than it needed to be for prescribers, patients, and caregivers. The site had also fallen out of step with the broader XYWAV and XYREM brand ecosystem, creating a disjointed experience for users who were already familiar with those platforms. Jazz Pharmaceuticals needed a full redesign and rebuild that addressed both problems at once.
Our goal
Motionstrand aimed to redesign and rebuild the REMS site to feel consistent with existing XYWAV and XYREM platforms while making it significantly easier for prescribers, patients, and caregivers to find what they need.
UX & UI Design
Designed for two distinct audiences
Prescribers and patients and caregivers come to the REMS site with very different needs. Motionstrand worked closely with Jazz's IT and REMS teams to structure the experience around those two paths, navigating legal review and stakeholder feedback along the way. The updated UI was brought into alignment with the broader XYWAV and XYREM brand ecosystem.

Front-end & Back-end Development
From design to a fully built experience
Motionstrand handled the full development of the site, building on the foundation established through the design process. Legal review and ongoing stakeholder feedback were part of the workflow throughout, ensuring the final build was accurate, compliant, and ready for launch.

Results
Where the original site was cluttered and difficult to navigate, the redesign brought structure, organization, and a clear path for every type of user. Prescribers and patients can now find what they need quickly, and the experience feels consistent with the XYWAV and XYREM platforms they already know.
